USCAA Welcomes Three New Members
The University of Dallas, Navajo Technical College, and World Harvest Bible College become the newest members of the USCAA.
NEWPORT NEWS, VA- The USCAA recently extended membership to three institutions. The University of Dallas, Navajo Technical College, and World Harvest Bible College join the USCAA increasing the total membership to 67.
The University of Dallas is located in Irvine, Texas and currently has an enrollment of 1,300 students. UD rejoins the USCAA with the intent to compete in all USCAA sports. The return of UD to the USCAA, once again extends the boarders of the association back into the state of Texas. Dick Strockbine serves as the director of athletics for the University.
Navajo Technical College also joins the USCAA with the intention of competing in cross country. Located in Crownpoint, New Mexico, Navajo Technical College offers a quality technical education to its students. Abe Bitok, the Director of Athletics, is no stranger to the USCAA. He was introduced to the association through his work at another member institution and decided upon his arrival at Navajo, to apply for membership. Abe states, "I truly believe that USCAA fits all the small schools and it gives our kids an opportunity of compete at the national level which is never heard of if the school was part of a bigger organization."
Additionally, World Harvest Bible College joins the USCAA with the intent to compete in Men's Soccer and Basketball. With a total enrollment of 288 students, World Harvest is an ideal candidate for membership into the association. It offers a unique education to its students, offering hands on training in ministry in addition to a well rounded education. Located in Columbus, Ohio, World Harvest is lead by Lisa Bradley, the schools Director of Athletics.
