USCAA Player of the Week 11/30 - 12/6
Men's Basketball Division I:
Isaih Harrison is the Division I men's basketball player of the week. Isaih is a sophomore forward at The Apprentice School. Isaih recorded three double-doubles averaging 18.3 points and 12.7 rebounds per game. He scored 22 points and had 12 rebounds in a home overtime loss to an NCAA Division III power in Virginia Wesleyan College that turned around and defeated the fourth-ranked team in NCAA Division III two days later. On Saturday he had 13 points and 11 rebounds at NCAA Division II Francis Marion , followed the next day by 20 points and a career high 15 rebounds at NCAA Division II St. Andrews Presbyterian.
Men's Basketball Division II:
Darius Prince is the Division II men's basketball player of the week. Darius is a sophomore guard at Penn State Greater Allegheny.. Darius led his team to two PSUAC wins last week, averaging 25.5 points and 8 rebounds. Against PSU Fayette, Darius collected 26 points and 10 rebounds in an 81-77 win. He also scored 25 points in a 71-63 win against Penn State York.
Women's Basketball:
Cara Sczepanski is one of two women's basketball players of the week, both reaching the 1000 point milestone. Cara is a junior forward from the University of Dallas. In two games this week, Cara averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals. Cara reached the 1000 point milestone in a 58-45 victory over Concordia University.
Jasmine Green of Penn State Beaver is one of two women's basketball players of the week, both reaching the 1000 point milestone. In three games this week, Jasmine averaged 20 points, 5 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 5 steals. Jasmine scored 28 points in a win against Penn State Greater Allegheny, amassing over 1000 points for her career.
Honorable Mention:
Men's Basketball Division I:
Travis Ekmark is the Division I men's basketball honorable mention player of the week. Travis is a senior guard/forward at the University of Dallas. He turned in a terrific all-around performance this week with 31 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals and a block in two games this week.
Men's Basketball Division II:
Greg Sohyak is the Division II men's basketball honorable mention player of the week. Donald is a junior forward at Penn College. Greg led his team with 27 points against Penn State Dubois in an 84-82 win.
Women's Basketball:
Hannah Brim is the women's basketball honorable mention player of the week. Hannah is a sophomore forward at Rhema Bible College. Hannah led her team with two fantastic offensive performances, scoring 27 points and 32 points in games against Cottey College and Southwest Christian University.
