2013 National Convention Website Launched

Information on how to book your trip to the 2013 USCAA National Convention is available on the newly launched Convention website. Registrants will need to click the link for ‘registration’ and follow the instructions provided. Registration for the event will be $180.00 per attendee, every dollar of which goes back into making this event a memorable experience. The USCAA encourages all member athletic directors to be present, and as always we welcome any additional staff and administrators to join us.
Rooms at the Wyndham will start out at $89 a night, with the option of upgrading to an oceanfront room for only $109. The Wyndham will provide superb meeting facilities, two complimentary hospitality suites, and a wide array of menu items for convention meetings, breakfasts, and dinners. Individual room reservations must be made by calling the hotel directly at 1-800-365-3032. Individual attendees must identify themselves as a member of the group (USCAA) in order to receive these special rates. Reservations must be made no later than May 3rd, 2013.
The USCAA has already planned two social outings for the 2013 National Convention. On Monday night there will be a welcome reception dinner on the oceanfront patio of the hotel, featuring cornhole, bochee ball, live music, and other activities. On Tuesday, the USCAA will return again to the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club for the second annual USCAA National Convention Golf Social. This social event will feature a nine-hole golf tournament, food, drinks, raffle prizes and plenty of additional activities for non-golfers. You can sign up for this event using this link. The cost for golfers is $30 and non-golfers is $10.
This year’s convention will feature more professional development sessions than ever before, with important and functional topics to include member orientation, PrestoSports training, Eligibility sessions, impacts of social media, tournament management, conference alignment, website management, and much more. Additionally, we will be welcoming Jim Gaffney of Peak Performance Management as our keynote speaker.
