Growing up with Kentucky roots and a family history of basketball excellence, there was little doubt Pat Todd would play the sport that has been such a large part of his life for more than 40 years. Todd not only excelled at the game at the high school and college level, but also came to understand how the game can be a springboard to molding the lives of young people.
After finishing his playing career, Todd transitioned into coaching very quickly. He built a state and nationally recognized high school program at Leesburg High School in the heart of central Florida. The Yellowjackets were ranked in the Top Ten in the State Coaches Poll for 12 consecutive years. His 1999 team finished the season ranked 19th in the USA Today’s High School Top 25.

During his career at the High School level Coach Todd was fortunate to coach 26 players that went on to earn All-State recognition. In addition, 72 players went on to play at the colligate level and 12 have gone to play professional basketball. He has been named Coach of the Year on 11 different occasions. In 2000 Coach Todd joined the staff at Georgia State University as an assistant coach to Lefty Driesell.
Coach Todd became the Athletic Director at Florida College in 2014. In 2015 he also became the Head Men’s & Women’s Basketball Coach at Florida College.
