PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Men's Soccer:

Lincoln Bressor is the men's soccer player of the week.  He is a freshman from Warren Wilson College.  Last week, Lincoln helped lead the Fighting Owls to a 2-0 record while scoring three goals, including two game winners.  Against Johnson Bible College, Lincoln scored the only goal of the game from 18 yards out in the 43^rd minute.  He currently has four goals on the season.

Women's Soccer:

Becky Ellis is the women's soccer player of the week.  She is a sophomore forward from Judson College.  In her first game, Becky scored three goals and tallied one assist.  She finished off the week by scoring the game winning goal in the 75^th minute against Wesleyan College.   

Volleyball:

Casey DeGroot is the volleyball player of the week.  She is a senior middle hitter from Robert Morris - Springfield.  During the week Casey had a total of 50 kills, leading her team to a 3-1 start.  She averaged 3.85 kills per game with a hitting percentage of .350.

Jenn Stremmel is the volleyball setter of the week.  She is a sophomore from Penn State- Mont Alto.  Jenn led the team with 60 assists and put away 19 kills on 31 attempts.  Jenn also contributed with 25 digs and six aces.   

HONORABLE MENTION

Men's Soccer:

Brad Degaetano - The freshman mid-fielder /defender scored three goals for NHTI in two games, helping them win the Panther Invitational title.

Women's Soccer:

Hanna Krek - The sophomore from Florida College help her team to a 2-2 tie against Abraham Baldwin AC with a key goal off a free kick.

Volleyball:

Kelley Koons - The senior middle hitter from the University of Cincinnati - Clermont led her team to a two match sweep at the UCC Volleyfest.
