Men’s Basketball DI
Player of the Week
Kraig Unger, a sophomore guard from Southern State Community College, is the Division I Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Kraig lit up scoreboard and was strong off the glass, highlighting the week with three double-doubles in points and rebounds. Unger’s deep threat capability shined as he shot over 50 percent from the three point line on the week. Unger totaled 55 points, 32 rebounds, 13 assists, and 9 steals over three games this week.
Men’s Basketball DII
Player of the Week
Thelbert Green, a sophomore guard from Eastern Maine Community College, is the Division II Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Green contributed 22 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals in a win of University of Maine Machias. Green has been a solid contributor all year, helping the golden eagles to a 7-1 record on the season.
Women’s Basketball
Player of the Week
Kaitlin Myers, a junior forward from SUNY Canton, is the Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Myers had a tremendous week averaging over 23.5 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.5 steals. Kaitlin’s dominant play allowed her team to edge out a narrow 67-64 victory over Johnson State College.
Wrestling
Player of the Week
Levi Rayburn, a freshman from Lindenwood University-Belleville is the Wrestler of the Week. Rayburn placed fifth at the Iowa State Open which included the No.2 ranked NCAA Division I wrestler. Rayburn is 12-5 on the season with four of the five losses coming from NCAA Division I wrestlers.
