Men’s Basketball DI
Co-Player of the Week
Tevin Andrews, a junior guard from the Apprentice School, is the Division I Men’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week. Andrews averaged 27 points, 11 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3 steals in two Builder’s road wins. Andrews highlighted the week with 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 89-84 win over NCAA D2 Pfeiffer University.
Co-Player of the Week
Tanner Bruffey, a junior forward from the
University of Dallas is the Division I Men’s
Basketball Co-Player of the Week. Bruffey averaged 20 points and
8.5 rebounds per game on the week. Bruffey also shot 55% from the
field and a remarkable 56% from behind the arc.
Men’s Basketball DII
Player of the Week
Devon Dorsey, a freshman forward from
Central Penn College is the Division II
Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Dorsey averaged 31
points and 13.5 rebounds per game on the week. Devon led the
Knights in a win over PSU-Beaver with 40 points and 10 rebounds and
also knocked down the decisive free throws with 7 seconds left in
the game to seal the 97-96 victory.
Women’s Basketball
Player of the Week
Courtney Collins, a sophomore guard from the
Apprentice School is the Women’s Basketball
Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. This week
Collins contributed 16 points, 6 rebounds, and four steals. Collins
helped the Lady Builders snap Averett University’s 5-game
winning streak while stretching out their winning streak to 10 to
start the season.
