WILLIAMSBURG, VA. The Apprentice
School shot a 320 in Wednesdays third and final round to
take honors in the 2006 United States Collegiate Athletic
Association Invitational held at the Marsh Hawk course at
Fords Colony. For the three days the Builders shot a 963 to
win the event.
Freshman Steven Ness was the medalist of
the tournament with a 78 on Wednesday for a three-day total of
237. Three shots back was sophomore BJ Maben with a 79 on
Wednesday for a 240.
The Builders burgundy team was paced
by Doug Ashworth with a fourth-place finish and a 246 total.
Apprentice School will conclude its spring
season next Thursday at the Wesley Spring Invitational.
