    NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The College of New Rochelle hosted non-conference opponent SUNY - Old Westbury on Wednesday evening at the Monroe Athletic Complex. This was the second time this season the Blue Angels would go up against the Panthers who were 7 - 0 on the season coming into the game. Despite the Blue Angels effort they would fall by a score of 48 - 75.

    NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Last year the women's softball team had an outstanding season. The Angels quadrupled their winnings from the 2016 season and had a couple individuals who held national statistical titles for the NCAA III. Collectively the team held the title for most runs scored in a game for NCAA III. The Lady Angels are gearing up for an early start to the season. They will be traveling to Virginia Beach to play in the Virginia Beach Blast Tournament ath the beginning of March.

    NEW YORK, NY - The College of New Rochelle's men's basketball team traveled to Manhattan Sunday morning for a non-conference showdown with Touro College. The Blue Angels were able to withstand a fervorous Touro effort and won the contest by the score of 87 to 71. The win was the team's third in their last four games.

The College of New Rochelle is proud to announce that two student-athletes were selected. Yashua Lockhart-Derry (Tuckahoe, NY) was tabbed as the AD3I men's swimming Student-Athlete of the Month and Dar'Neisha Brice (California, MD) as the AD3I women's basketball Student-Athlete of the Month.

    NEW ROCHELLE, NY ? The College of New Rochelle women's basketball team hosted the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons on Thursday night. The Lady Blue Angels picked up their third win of the season defeating the Gryphons with a final score of 71 ? 43, improving their season record to 3 - 5.

Despite a furious second half rally that saw the Blue Angels trim an 18 point NYU lead down to one, the team dropped the matchup by the score of 100 - 87.

    COBLESKILL, NY - SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team beat The College of New Rochelle 68 - 51 on Monday night. With the loss, CNR improved to 2 - 5 on the season. Senior forward Chelsea Thomas (Bronx, NY) , led the Blue Angels with 18 points. This was a season high for Thomas and matched her career high points scored as well. Fellow senior Caitlin Harrison (Bronx, NY) led the team with ten rebounds and two steals.

    BRONX, NY-The College of New Rochelle's men's basketball team opened their slate of conference games on Sunday by traveling to the Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx and defeating the Culinary Institute of America Steels with a score of 105 to 64.
