USCAA Players of the Week Dec. 8th-14th

Newport News, VA. - The USCAA wants to congratulate and celebrate its student athletes' accomplishments. We are proud to announce the following Players of the Week for the week of December 8th -14th.
Men's Basketball (Divison I)
- - Player of the Week- Pete Alexandrou, Florida, G, Jr., Clearwater, FL- Alexandrou started the week with 33 points and six rebounds against NCAA Division II Saint Leo University. The Florida guard followed that performance with eight points, two boards and three assists against NCAA Division II Eckerd College. The Falcons' junior ended the week with 23 points, seven rebounds and four steals in a victory over Ave Maria University.
Men's Basketball (Division II)
- - Player of the Week- Josiah Stroup, NCTA, G, So., - Stroud averaged a double-double in two games this week. He netted 60 points and grabbed 22 boards in the two games. He also added seven assists, seven steals and one block over the two games.
Women's Basketball
- - Co-Player of the Week- Erin Rogers, St. Catharine, G, Jr., Louisville, KY- Rodgers began the week with 11 points and four rebounds against Union College. In the Lady Patriots victory over Ashbury, Rodgers scored 21 points while adding three assists, three rebounds and three steals. The junior guard finished the week by pouring in 23 points and grabbing 5 boards in a win over Brescia.
- -Co Player of the Week- Ashley McQuillan, St. Joseph's, G, Fr., Brooklyn, NY- McQuillan scored the second most points ever in a St. Francis regulation game with a 34 point performance. She also added five steals, three assists and three rebounds as St. Joseph's defeated Southern Vermont.
