USCAA Player of the Week April 6th-12th

Baseball
Player of the Week- Adam Hays- RMC-Springfield, OF, Sr., Champaign, IL- Hayes went 10-for-19 (.526) on the week. The RMC-Springfield senior belted two doubles, drove in two, scored five times and stole four bases.
Pitcher of the Week- Alex Smith-Central Maine, P, So., Poland, ME- Smith tossed a complete-game (seven innings) shutout against Vermont Tech. He follow that with a complete-game (seven innings) 17 strike out performance in a victory over NHTI.
Softball
Player of the Week- Kristina Hoffart, RMC-Springfield, SS, Sr., Calgary, Alberta, Canada- Hoffart hit .542 (13-for-24) over an eight game stretch this week. The Lady Eagles' senior tallied eight RBI, nine runs and two walks. Highlighting Hoffarts week was a walk-off grand slam. RMC-Springfield went 6-2 on the week and defeated defending USCAA National Champion, Saint Mary of the Woods.
Pitcher of the Week- Alyson Chiaramonte - St. Joseph's, P, Fr., Staten Island, NY- Chiaramonte pitched the first perfect game in St. Joseph's College history. The freshman led her squad to a 10-0 victory (five innings) in the first game of a conference doubleheader against Sarah Lawrence College. Chiaramonte posted a 3-0 record, 0.39 ERA (18 innings), .113 batting average against and struck out 24.
