Rochester College Captures USCAA National Golf Championship
Rochester College shot a 314 round on Tuesday to take their second straight United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship with a two-day total of 625 at the Penn State University Blue Course.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Rochester College shot a 314 round on Tuesday to take their second straight United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship with a two-day total of 625 at the Penn State University Blue Course.
Lindenwood-Belleville passed Apprentice School for second place in the event with a 321 round on Tuesday for a 637 total. The Builders took third in the event with a 327 Tuesday round for a 639 total.
Apprentice School freshman Ben Hunter won the individual medalist honor carding a two-over-par 74 on Tuesday to finish the event at even-par 144. He won the tournament by seven strokes over Gary Turner from Rochester College who shot a 78 on Tuesday for a seven-over-par 151 total.
Penn State Mont Alto was fourth in the tournament with a 322 second round for a 646 total, while Penn College rounded out the top five with a 328 second round for a 654 total.
