First Round of the USCAA Soccer Championships Begins Today
The 2010 USCAA Soccer Championships will open up today with the first round of competition.
This year’s tournament hosted by Vermont Tech is being held in Burlington, Vermont. The first round of completion will take place today followed by the Semi-Finals and Consolation games Saturday, commencing with the Championship games on Sunday.
All of today’s matches will take place at the Tree Farm Field in Essex, VT. Directions to the field and all other tournament information can be found on the tournament marketing packet. Today’s matches are listed below:
Men’s Soccer Matches
#1 University of Maine at Fort Kent v. #8 Vermont Tech – 11:30AM EST
#4 Penn College v. #5 Concordia College – 11:30AM EST
#2 Lindenwood – Belleville v. #7 NHTI – 1:30PM EST
#3 Briarcliff College v. #6 Southern State CC – 1:30PM EST
Women’s Soccer Matches
#1 University of Maine at Fort Kent v. #8 St. Mary-of-the-Woods College – 11:30AM EST
#4 NHTI v. #5 Washington Adventist University – 11:30AM EST
#2 Southern Virginia v. #7 Vermont Tech – 1:30PM EST
#3 Florida College v. #6 Marygrove College – 1:30PM EST

The first round of action will commence with the Soccer Banquet Friday evening at the Sheraton Hotel. All-American and All-Academic Team winners will be announced at the banquet. Check theuscaa.com website later in the evening for the official list of winners!
