Lyndon State eliminates Southern Maine CC 69-57

BROKEN ARROW, OKLA. -- Jennifer White scored 16 points and Whitney Hoyt added 10 for Lyndon State as they eliminated Southern Maine CC 69-57 in a consolation game on Thursday night in the 2008 USCAA Women's Basketball national tournament.

The Hornets jumped out to a 42-25 advantage at halftime behind Hoyt and Megan Beaulieu who had six points each.  In the second half the Seawolves outscored them 32-27. Rhonda Cole and Elizabeth Oulette paced the Seawolves with 17 points apiece.

Lyndon State now advances to a 10 pm CST matchup against the winner of UC-Clermont and host Rhema Bible College on Friday night.
