USCAA 2007 Women's Soccer Players of Week Announced

Oct. 10 Player of Week

Kelsey Picknell is the Women's soccer player of the week. She is a freshman forward from NHTI. Last week, Kelsey had a hat trick as well as 3 assists in a win over Hesser College. She also set up the winning goal in a tight 1-0 victory over Massasoit CC. On the season, Kelsey has 9 goals and 10 assists for a total of 28 points last week.

April Ridenour is the Women's Goalie of the week. April is a junior from Columbia Union College. She had a shut out against Trinity University and helped keep a tie game against Manor College.

Honorable Mention
Jeralyn Wile from Columbia Union College scored three goals in two games and had a total of 5 shots on goal.

Oct. 3 Player of Week

Melissa Warner is the Women's Soccer Player of the Week. She is a senior sweeper for NHTI. As team captain she has helped contribute to a 0.81 GAA in 8 games with her excellent leadership.

April Ridenour is the Women's Goalie of the week. April is a junior from Columbia Union College. April allowed only 1 goal against both Goldey Beacom College and Gallaudet University. She also boasted 22 saves against University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown on Sunday.

Sept 25 Player of Week

Gema Mariscal is the women's soccer Player of the Week. Mariscal is a senior midfielder from Robert Morris College-Lake County. Gema scored 4 goals and had 2 assists this week to lead the Eagles to two victories.

Jessica Arkley is the women's soccer Goalie of the Week. Arkley is a freshman from Vermont Tech. Arkley had 2 shutouts this past week. She has 34 saves and a goal against average of 1.00 on the season.

Honorable Mention
Haja Jallah from Columbia Union College scored 3 goals in 3 games last week.
April Ridenour from Columbia Union College had a total of 24 saves in 3 games. She helped lead the Lady pioneers to two victories over NCAA DII schools.

Sept 18 Player of Week

Courtney Woolston is the Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Woolston is a freshman forward from Southern Virginia University. Woolston came off the bench and scored 2 goals in the second half including the game winning goal.

Honorable Mention
April Ridenour from Columbia Union College had a total of 24 saves and one shutout in two games.

Sept 12 Player of Week

Jamie Lockett is the Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Lockett is a sophomore forward from NHTI. Returning from knee surgery over the winter, she helped NHTI win two games in the past week scoring 5 goals with 3 assists for a total of 13 points.

Honorable Mention
Sarah Toth from Columbia Union College scored 3 goals and 1 assist in two games and took 7 shots.
