Invitational Baseball Tournament is complete with three games
played. Below are line scores with capsule summaries.
Game 1 Apprentice School 7,

The Apprentice School scored twice, on bases
loaded hit-by-pitches, in the bottom of the seventh to score
the 7-6 win. Columbia Union was paced by Ryan Reese and Ryan
Brown with two hits each. Apprentice School was headed by Eric
Polk with three hits and Ryan Scott and Marshall added two
each. Builder pitcher Ben Jones picked up the win, his school
record 12th of the year.

Game 2 Briarcliffe College vs.
Florida College Box
Score
A three-run Franklin Reyes triple highlighted
a six-run third inning as Briarcliffe College knocked off the
host Florida College Falcons 9-5. The Falcons answered that
outburst with four runs in its half of the fourth with three
coming on a bases clearing double by Marek Carter, but the
Falcons could not get closer. Briarcliffe was headed by Dan OBrien,
Justin McKay and John Rivera with two hits each. Andrew
Raschen picked up the win for the Seahawks.

Game 3 Columbia Union College
vs. Briarcliffe College Box
Score
Baldwin Vargas went the distance allowing
seven hits as Briarcliffe defeated Columbia Union College 5-3
to close out day one. The Seahawks took advantage of five
Pioneer errors as they only had two hits in the game. Dan OBrien
scored two runs, while Francis Santos and John Rivera had the
hits for Briarcliffe. Brandon Hall and Eugene Burnett had two
hits each for Columbia Union College.
