Patrick Quest began his tenure as Athletic Director at Christendom College in August of 2015. Over the course of the last 9 years, he has grown their program offerings from 7 sports to 11. As part of that work, he brought baseball back to campus after a four-year hiatus and they have been a vibrant program since 2017. He also worked to elevate Women’s and Men’s Cross Country to a varsity sport, and both began competing at the USCAA National Championships in 2016. Finally, he worked to elevate Rugby on his campus (Rugby 15’s – fall, Rugby 7’s – spring) to the varsity level.
In addition to elevating sports on campus, he has also guided several programs to success at the National level:
Patrick has also worked to improve the student-athlete experience in the classroom as well. In 2015 the campus had only 16 students who were named to the National All-Academic team, since then they routinely have over 40 student-athlete earn this honor each year. They have won the President’s Cup multiple times (18/19, 20/21, 22/23) and finished in second (21/22) and third place (19/20) in other years.
