USCAA Announces Hiring of Max Felsenstein as Associate Director of Operations and Compliance
The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Max Felsenstein as its new Associate Director of Operations and Compliance. Felsenstein will join the USCAA National Office on July 20, bringing experience in collegiate athletics, conference administration, communications, event operations, and coaching.
Felsenstein joins the USCAA after serving as a Recruiting Consultant with Play to Win Sports, where he guided prospective student-athletes and their families through the collegiate recruiting process while coordinating large-scale baseball showcase events across the country. He also served as Assistant Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Scranton, overseeing recruiting efforts, supporting compliance and day-to-day program operations, and mentoring student-athletes on and off the field.
Prior to returning to coaching, Felsenstein served as Director of New Media & Sports Communications for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). During his time with the conference, he managed the MAAC's digital media strategy, communications, awards programs, statistical reporting, and media relations while serving as a primary liaison to member institutions. His experience working in a Division I conference office provided him with valuable knowledge of conference operations, championship administration, member services, and institutional collaboration.
Felsenstein also served as Athletic Events Coordinator and Assistant Baseball Coach at Stevens Institute of Technology, where he helped coordinate athletic events while continuing to develop student-athletes through coaching. Across his coaching career, he has gained firsthand experience with recruiting, compliance, student-athlete development, and the daily operations of collegiate athletics programs.

As Associate Director of Operations and Compliance, Felsenstein will assist with the administration of the Association's governance and compliance initiatives, member services, championships, and daily operations while supporting the continued growth and success of the USCAA.

Felsenstein earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Drew University and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Canisius University.
