Takoma Park, MD - The Washington Adventist University men's basketball team is set to host Berkeley College Saturday night at 7 pm. Last season the Knights edged the Shock twice by a slim margin. The Knights will enter the contest with a 1-3 overall record on the season.

The Lady Shock are home after their Kentucky Road Trip against #15 Lindsey Wilson College and Shawnee State. The Pioneers will travel to Takoma Park after losing a close contest to Bryant & Stratton Buffalo.

Takoma Park, MD- The Washington Adventist University Athletics Department has announced its partnership with Stretch Internet the official Livestream provider of the NAIA. Athletics Director Patrick E. Crarey, II stated "Over the years Coach Lyons has done a remarkable job in the continued rebranding and marketing of our Athletics Department. In order to take the next step, we know we needed to start consistently streaming our games. I am so excited about our partnership with Stretch Internet and to bring streaming to all of our sports."
[Acro-Airs] ACROFEST 2019November 18, 2019
Takoma Park, MD- The Acro-Airs traveled to Collegedale, TN last week to represent WAU at the annual Acrofest event hosted for the past 30 years in the Adventist community. With over 1200 gymnasts and 34 teams present, the Acro-Airs did a fantastic job being recognized both for their athletic prowess and involvement in this successful event. Acrofest also marks a longstanding Acro-Airs tradition of putting the most intense routine of the season together into one powerful five-minute performance early in the season. A majority of team members, including new recruits, trained throughout the summer to be capable of hitting the ground physically able to train high-end flips and twists when the season began in August. Freshman Tony Galeas was part of the incoming class who attended optional summer training sessions who stated, "I really enjoyed Acrofest...to be around people who've dedicated their lives to the sport. It was a really positive atmosphere."

Takoma Park, Md- The Washington Adventist University women's soccer team was defeated by #1 Georgia Gwinnett College in the first round of the 2019 A.I.I. Championships. It was the squad's second season returning to the championships and the second straight season the team made the post-season.

Takoma Park, Md- The Washington Adventist University men's basketball team will host the next three contests here on campus in the Pit. The squad will host Central Penn College on Tuesday night at 7 pm. The Knights will travel to Takoma Park with a 2-2 record on the season. The Knights fell to Howard University and Campbell University both Division I programs and currently won their last two contests.

Takoma Park, Md - The Washington Adventist University men's team cruised passed The Apprentice School Saturday night by a final of 94-65. In the first half, the Shock jumped off to a quick 13-4 start to lead. The Builders responded by cutting into the Shock lead 15-13. With 2:23 left on the clock, the Shock held a slim 33-30 lead. The Shock used a mini-run 8-2 to extend the lead 41-32. In the second half, the Shock outscored the Builders 53-33 in route to their 94-65 victory.
