Seamus Meekes of Williamson College of the Trades earns this week’s Football Defensive Player of the Week honors. The defensive end had six tackles, two sacks and two hurries against Hampton Roads Community College. Meekes’ play of the day came in the fourth quarter when he put the quarterback under pressure, forcing an interception that was returned for what proved to be the game-winning touchdown with under four minutes to play.
