#4 Briarcliffe College - #7 Penn State Beaver
AKRON, OH- Led by an outstanding offensive and pitching performance by All-American Jillian McGovern, the Briarcliffe College Lady Bulldogs defeated Penn State Beaver 3-1 in the second day of the USCAA Softball Small College World Series. McGovern pitched the distance for Briarcliffe, scattering only three hits and picking up her second win of the tournament.
